Hello. Again.

Been awhile since I last posted anything to this site. About time that changed.

Despite my absence over the last year or so, I do still look at this site rather fondly. It was the first gaming-social networking thing I ever tried out, and as they say, you never forget your first. Pretty sure I've been a member for at least 2 and a half years. A (relatively) long time. Made a few friends. Pissed off a few people. Made a few laugh. I think. I'm getting old, and the ol' brain isn't what it once was.

Life wise, I now have a daughter. Some of you have seen her pictures. She'll be a year old in October. She'll have a little brother come December. One of those years, I guess.

Just got a new job (finally). It will pay enough that I can sustain my gaming habit for the foreseeable future, which is good, because there are some doozies on the horizon.

Here's a few:

Batman: Arkham City - If you've played the first one, you know why I NEED this game. If you haven't played it, get the hell out of my office. You sicken me.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - I sunk around 160 hours into Oblivion. This game has a decidedly Nordic feel to it. I punch those numbers into my calculator, I get a happy face.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - I'm a bit leery that Capcom is bringing this one out so soon after the original was released, but what the hell. More characters, more stuff, more colored farts flying across the screen.

Portal 2 DLC - Portal 2 was sublime. Free DLC (due next month) is just spreading the goodness around.

Probably enough for now. I'll roam about the site, see if there's anything I can add.
