Okay, not really greetings in the traditional sense as I've been around this site for over four years, but hello nonetheless.

I play games, children permitting.

I've been known to make valid witticisms regarding said games.

And above all, I have a question: who's still here from the olden days, when we carved our gaming updates into rough slabs of granite? Back when the forums were still an ongoing (well, the only thing) proposition? I'm talking at least 4 years ago, antiquity as time is reckoned in the wilds of the internet.

Also, the still haven't added PS3 support for automatically posting gaming activities, so I'm not going to bother spending a dog's age putting every last little game I play up here. If you're interested, here's the short list: Bioshock Infinite, DmC, Assassin's Creed 3, Syrim, Burnout Paradise and Minecraft.

PSN handle is mykalgaidin if you'd like to add me. It would be nice to pad out my friends list a bit.

I only appear when summoned tbh :P
Pretty much the same for me as well. You can add Hexblood on PSN. Though it is mostly my wife playing Minecraft or family watching Netflix these days. I am doing most my gaming on PC. Mostly gating through Steam (Same user name).
been a minute since i have been on here.... *creeps through the room and slips through the wall humming to herself...*
I pop in from time to time. Site's been getting slower and whoever owns it now seems to not be putting out updates like they used to. I'm back on PSN and realized they still haven't added PSN support as well after all these years too.
I'm not entirely sure why someone is paying to keep this site online. Maybe they just own a lot of sites and forgot this one even existed.
@jimothyjim Well a lot of people keep sites up just to get whatever residual ad revenue it generates. This site also has a lot of users registered which means they can wait until the next sap comes along and actually buys it for way more than its worth. Then, the cycle continues.

A site with 10k users can sell for 4k+ dollars. Hell, they might even get the next sap to buy for 10k.
They don't have to be active users either since when selling they just tell them how many registered users there are.
I think what they care about is how many eyeballs are seeing the ads, which they count by how many times the ads are downloaded. So long as we keep checking out pages, they can keep charging money for the ads.
Give or take a few, to account for a certain number of people with only one eye?
Woudln't that be balanced out by four-eyed people?
For every one-eyed person, there are hundreds of four-eyed people, so I doubt it.
It's been so long I forgot why I left in the first place. Also people are still giving me "respect" every so often and it keeps reminding me that this is/was a thing. Also maybe it's because I only have 2 eyes but I can't see any ads. Unless they were on the front bit and I can't see them now because I'm logged in
I stopped coming because support went down the toilet and people started to drop off.

Site still kinda loads like ass for me though its weird seeing random bursts of activity
Definitely, one of the forum pages took like 10 seconds to load, there was 1 reply. There's some chance the server is stuck in a space time continuum, which would also explain the lack of anything since 2013
The forums are definitely running a lot more slowly than the rest of the site.
Well, definitely it's been ages since I've checked the site up! The pages still take the same slow time to load. A bit of social media search shows that the last "activity" gamerDNA was in December 2013... I still remember that the site jumped off the shark when it changed ownership... Maybe we could shake the things a bit up...?
Jumped "off" the shark? Are you trying to pump the trope up to 11?
@LordXenophon Depends on what you mean with "pump the trope up to 11". :-$
Jumping off the shark implies you've already jumped onto it as well, no messing around.
You're supposed to jump over the shark, then your show dies.
Heheh, indeed, "over" is what I should have used. I just wanted to state the decline of site updates, though that's just a personal observation.
Only the Fonz could jump over a shark.
I've seen a dolphin jump over a shark.
