Not certain why the gDNA system didn't pick up that I'd played this last night, but oh well. It was kind of late.
I've had this game sitting on my HD for almost 5 months, and I only just now started playing. Came out on top after about an hour of play. The blinds were 3/6 so the numbers weren't huge, but I did win a few important hands. My best hand was what got me the biggest pot. Had a 10/8 off suit, flopped an inside straight draw, and picked up a 9 on the street when at least 2 other players had gone all in. Came up with a $1200 pot. Pocket change, I know, but I'm still somewhat proud of how I played the hand.
The only problem I have with this game is that I can't see my opponents, and a big part of poker is reading the other players. The only thing I have to go off is how aggressively they bet, and sometimes the AI chooses odd ways to play a hand. Like going all in before the flop on a Queen/Ace off suit. Every other player folded, giving him about $16 in chips. If he'd bet a bit more conservatively, he might have increased his chip count by quite a bit more. He was the short-stack, but still.
